UL disqualified materials and effect on Tochigiya products

Dear Valued Customers,

Regarding UL disqualify materials: VYLOPET, GLAMIDE, PELPRENE from Toyobo and effect on TOCHIGIYA products, we would like to announce as follows;

According to press release, all the VYLOPET, GLAMIDE, PELPRENE are cancelled for UL certification. Therefore, our below products are not UL certified products. Based on our test results, however, allowable weight 45N (4.6kgf) on our catalog can be kept, so there is no effect on quality.

Our action:

Currently, above products are not available in our online shop. We are in the process of investigating the alternative materials. As soon as we find the suitable one, we will switch the materials. We are sorry for the any inconvenience which may be caused.
